Ms Archana Jain

Archana Jain (Batch of 1983) is the Founder & Managing Director of PR Pundit, India’s Leading PR company. She started this venture in 1998 and created one of the most successful PR firms in Luxury & Lifestyle. PR Pundit holds the distinction of being India’s first & only PR company to win a Gold PR Lions at Cannes in 2017 for the ITC Savlon campaign. PR Pundit’s work for “Adidas” was recognized with a Certificate of Excellence in the Social Media category entitled “Building adidas running with online amplifiers” at the “Sabre” South Asia awards.

Dr. Amlan Roy

Dr. Amlan Roy ( Batch of 1980) is Head - Global Macro Policy Research & Senior MD at State Street Global Advisors, London. He is an Internationally acclaimed research expert on Global Macro across Economics, Demographics and Retirement. He is part of a macro group led and inspired by 5 Nobel Laureates in Economics. He speaks globally at more than 70 conferences a year and has been key note speaker alongside General Colin Powell, Madeleine Albright, Jay Powell etc.. He is a Senior Research Associate at London School of Economics and Guest Finance Professor at London Business School.

Mr. Ajay Dhankhar and Ms. Nidhi Topa Dhankar

Mr. Ajay Dhankhar and Ms. Nidhi Topa Dhankar (Batch of 1988) are another Bal Bharati love story. Ajay is a Senior Partner at McKinsey in USA and leads Strategy and M&A practice in Healthcare, while Nidhi was a fast rising banker at Amex and GE Capital. Ajay won a scholarship to the US and went on to study Physics, Computer Science, eventually finishing with a PhD in Biochemistry from Yale, while Nidhi studied economics at St Xaviers College and TSM.

Mr. Ramanan Raghavendran

Ramanan Raghavendran (Batch of 1985) owns & runs a Leading Global Venture Capital Company (Amasia) focusing on Climate Change & Sustainability related investments. Based out of San Francisco, his company has global Operations including Singapore. Ramanan Raghavendran — who was the chair to the Board of Advisors of Penn's School of Arts and Sciences now takes over at the helm of the University's Board of Trustees. He is also Chair of the Penn International Alumni Council. In addition, he also serves as global coordinator for the Penn Alumni Ambassadors Program and is a member of the advisory board for the Center for the Advanced Study of India. He co-founded Impact Partners, India’s first venture philanthropy fund, which backed Magic Bus, Akshaya Patra.

Mr. Amar Shankar

Amar Shankar (Batch of 1992) - Partner, Ernst & Young, India.Our alumni working in global companies are bringing back the best for the School. Recently, EY launched a mobile platform to help girls in 13-18 years age group engage in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) curriculum and pursue high-growth careers. AFBBS along with other select schools in Delhi NCR are the first to launch this global initiative that will provide an entertaining and gamified STEM learning experience to over 6,000 girls in Delhi NCR. The content is developed by the best in the world including Ivy League universities, NASA and leading academia around the world.

Amar is a Partner at EY’s Government Advisory practice and has been working closely with governments in improving economic development agenda with a special focus on accelerating competitiveness of MSMEs. He leads EY’s footprint and is engaged in driving the developmental agenda of multilateral agencies including the World Bank and Asian Development Bank in the Indian subcontinent. He is also a Core Managememt Member of OSA.

Mr. Vikram Mehta

Vikram Mehta ( Batch of 1982) is the Chairman of Ingogo, the Austrialian Taxi App that is beating Uber and other apps in Australia. He is also Managing Director, Pacific Venture Advisors , San Francisco . He is also President & Chief Executive Officer at Kaazing. Prior to these he had various Leadership roles at IBM / HP and Nortel. Vikram was Founder, President and CEO of BLADE and the driving force behind the company’s growth and rapid global expansion.

Mr. Mohit Anand

Mohit Anand ( Batch of 1988) is the Managing Director, Kelloggs, India & South Asia. Previous roles include Global Vice President - Unilever and Marketing Director - Asia Operations for Proctor & Gamble. Post AFBBS, he did his BE ( Engineering ) from PEC and MBA from Jamnalal Bajaj.

Mr. Rahul Nagpal

Rahul Nagpal, Batch of 1983, launched a communication agency called Group Partnership way back in 1998 in the UAE. Within a short span, it became a leader in the Middle East region.It was acquired by WPP, the world's leading communication group in 2007 and is now the Leading creative agency in the entire Middle East region. Rahul continues to be at helm as the CEO.

Mr. Sajal Kohli

Sajal Kohli-( Batch of 1984).Sajal is based in Chicago and leads McKinsey’s global work in the retail and consumer-goods companies to guide growth,commercial and operational transformations. He is a graduate from Sriram College of Commerce and MBA from the prestigious Kellogg School of Management .Before joining McKinsey,Sajal was an executive for a retail and consumer-goods company in Asia and Europe. Mr. Samba Natrajan

Samba Natarajan, Batch of 1982 , did his Engineering from BITS Pilani, Management from IIM Ahmedabad and Wharton School of Business. He is the Senior Vice President PayPal for Growth market based in Singapore. He has worked at Citi Bank and McKinsey & Company in United States and Singapore. Samba was the CEO of Amobee prior to joining PayPal.

Vineet Bajpai (Batch of 1994) a first-generation Entrepreneur, he started his company Magnon from a small shed. He is the Founder & Chairman of Magnon / TBWA and Magnon eg+. Both Magnon companies are part of the Fortune 500 Omnicom Group. Today Magnon is among the largest digital agencies in the Indian subcontinent. Mr. Niraj Vedwa

Niraj Vedwa, Batch of 1983 is amongst the only few Indians globally to be on the Board of an International Bank ( Xacbank, Mongolia - Invested by World Bank). He also sits in Advisory Roles of many Global Companies . He was India Junior National Yachting Champion in 1984 and Silver Medallist in Yachting at the National Games in 1985. He captained Delhi University in Yachting / Swimming in 1986.

Ms. Ritu Jhingon

Director, Communication, PR & Branding & CEO, Nand Ghar at Vedanta Resources Ritu has a rich experience of over 30 years and has worked with Hindustan Times and Ogilvy. She has been associated with Vedanta group since 2010 and has made significant contribution by institutionalizing Vedanta's flagship Nand Ghar from conceptualization to a national movement and enhancing Vedanta's brand perception in Dubai Expo presence and ESG Communication campaign.

The Power couple Amit Prothi and Anjali Acharya

Amit Prothi an alumnus of AFBBS 1987 batch, assumes the chair of the Director General of CDRI (Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure). CDRI is a coalition of 39 country governments and organizations that seeks to address increasing disaster and climate change risks across the world. The organisation has its headquarters in Delhi. Amit has returned to India after 29 years to take on the responsibility. Previously, he has worked for the private sector, in local government, with organisations such as the World Bank and Asian Development Bank, and for philanthropic programs supported by the Rockefeller Foundation.

Anjali Acharya, another AFBBS alumna of 1988 batch, has been working with the World Bank for almost 25 years and leads environment and climate change programs across many countries. Anjali studied Economics at St. Stephens, then went on to do a Masters in Environmental management at Duke University. She also completed her PhD in Environmental Health from John Hopkins.

Mr. Manmohan Singh Duggal

Manmohan Singh Duggal (Mac Duggal), the global Renowned Fashion Designer and Clothing Czar, passed out of AFBBS in 1976. He went on to do his Engineering from Bangalore and then moved to USA .Today, his multi-million dollar fashion clothing empire headquartered in Chicago, spans 32 countries and his clothes are sold at Nordstrom, Macys, SAKS Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdale, New York Dresses, Lord & Taylor, to name a few.Since his launching in 1984 with just ten dresses, Mac Duggal has become one of the most sought-after names in women's’ luxury apparel and evening wear, and is known around the world for creating exceptionally flattering pieces

The Clothing Czar dressed A-listers like Gwyneth Paltrow, Carrie Underwood, Vanessa Hudgens, Kylie Jenner, Eva Longoria and Khloé Kardashian. He made his Oscar debut 2015 at the 87th Academy Awards where Lil Kim, Keltic Knight, Joslyn Davis dressed in attires designed by Mac Duggal. He also did costumes for the Nattu Nattu performance at the recent Oscars 2023.

Mac’s innovation in evening wear has gained him international recognition through various awards, as well as an induction into the Smithsonian National Museum of American History in Washington, DC in 2017.

Mr. Tarun Lal

An 1985 Batch Alumni, Tarun Lal is President of KFC U.S., responsible for driving overall performance of the KFC business in the U.S. with a continued focus on customers, franchisees, innovation and operational efficiency. Prior to this, Lal served as Managing Director of the KFC Middle East, Pakistan, Turkey, Africa and India markets. In this role, Lal galvanized system wide focus on the brand’s growth priorities and unlocking potential from the inside out. From entering and re-franchising markets to accelerating net-new unit development and digital transformation, Lal’s leadership drove tangible impact across the KFC business in the region. In his more than 25 years with the Company, Lal has served in various other roles at KFC and Yum! Brands, including General Manager of KFC Africa, where he unlocked growth across the region that included successful brand launches in multiple new markets. In addition, Lal has also served as KFC Global Chief Operations Officer and started his career with the brand as the first General Manager for KFC India. Post AFBBS, Lal studied at the Shri Ram College of Commerce in Delhi, India.
